Simple and practical our medium duty clear polythene bags are made from 200 gauge (50 micron) virgin low density polyethylene ( LDPE). Commonly known as polythene. They offer relatively high levels of clarity whilst retaining a good level of toughness. They are available in 13 different sizes and are all suitable for food use. These bags are sealed at the bottom with a weld and are plain flush and open topped. Twice the thickness of our light duty bags they can be used for all manner of applications where a little extra thickness and tear resistance is required. They are supplied flat, usually in boxes and are quick and easy to seal using either a heat sealer, tape or wire ties. Measured width x depth to the seal, we have a size that will suit most requirements.
